SPECIFICATIONS
LATERAL ADJUSTMENT OF REAR GANGS The disk
harrow may be adjusted laterally by sliding
gangs on the frame tube.
The Model Y Disk Harrow is a 3-point hitch
implement available in one disk spacing width
8-1/2 inches. Cutting widths include 5-foot
10- inch, 7-foot 2-1nch, 8-foOt 6-inch, 9-foot
10-inch, and 11-foot 2-inch. Whtte iron or
anti-friction bearings available as ordered. The
aisk gangs have 1-1/8-inch square gang bolts. The
angle of the gangs can be changed quickly and
easily, and the front and rear gangs can be
angled independently of each other. DISKING DEPTH
Controlled hy - draulically by the rockshaft
control lever on the tractor. LEVELING The disk
harrow can be leveled tore -and-aft and lateral-
ly with the adjustments on the trac - tor 3-point
hltch.
DISK BLADES l8-inch or 20- lnch sphertcal,
solla or cut-out dlsk blades 20-inch cone,
solid or cut- out disk blades. SCRAPERS
One-piece scrapers are optional equipment.
FURROW FILLER ATTACHMENT Will fill and level
the furrow left by rear gang outer disk blades.
14- or 16 -inch blades are recommended for this
attachment, depending on size or disk blades on
disk harrow. MIDDLEBREAKER ATTACHMENT - A
sprtng-tooth miaalebreaker cuts out the center
strip left by the front disk gangs.
END SCRAPER ATTACHMENT To clean outside front
disk and in- side rear disks. (!Speci ficatimis

attachment must be removed from the tractor, If
the tractor is so equipped. Tire Pees
sure Consult your tractor operator's manual for
front and rear tire pres - sure. 40, 420, 430,
1010 AND 1020 SERIES TRACTORS Rear Wheel
bread Set the tractor rear wheel tread at 56
inches or less, center -to-cen- ter of tlres, and
equal distance from center line of the
tractor. Front And Weighting Front end weighting
ts necessary for eff ielent operation and
safety. therefore, lt ls Important that the
proper weight be added to the tront end of the
tractor.
Rockshaft Li ft Arm On all tractors except 1020
Se- ries, ad)ust the tractor hydraulic system
so Integral cylinders are parallel and the
llft arms operate together. See tractor
operator's manual. oad-and-Depth Control
System The dlsk harrow 1s usually used with
load-and-depth control action of the tractor
locked out. To lock out the load -and-depth
control aetlon, turn the load control screw
out against the yoke. On 1020 Tractors shift
rockshaft selector to ' D" po- sltlon. E
deslred, the load -and-depth control system can
be used by turn- ing the load control screw In (
LD' ' posltlon on 1020 Tractors).

Center L inh Attach the center link to the load
control yoke in the least sensitive position, if
the disk harrow 1s used with the load control
action of the tractor locked out. E the load
control action of the tractor is belng used,
attach the center link to the center hole in the
load control yoke when operatlng ln favorable
field conditions.
Swo y B lOOS S Sway blocks must be attached in
the upper position which permits lateral
flexibility when worklng and ellmtnates side
sway when trans - porting. From End
Weighting Front end weighting is necessary for
effieient operation and safety. Therefore, it 1s
important that the proper weight be added to the
front end of the tractor.
The center link can be attached to the most
sensitive position in the control yoke when
operating In ad- verse field conditions. Li ft
Links Attach the lift links to the inner holes on
the roekshaft ltft arms. Set the length of the
left-hand 11nk at 25 -1/2 inches. The right-hand
lift link provides adjustment for leveling the
disk har - row. Swo y Choirs Pin the sway stop
chains to the outer holes on each side of the
cen- ter hole in the drawbar bracket. 2010 AND

6 Operation 2510, 3010, 3020, 4010 SERIES TRACTORS

transporting. Li ft Links Adjust the lift links
for transport clearance and lateral float.

necessary for efficient operation and safety.
Therefore, it is important that the proper
weight be added to the front end of the
tractor. If Quik-Coupler is used, add 100 pounds
to those weights shown.
