SAFETY/SAFETY PANELS SAFETY MESSAGES AND SAFETY
PANELS SAFETY ASPECTS Safety-related aspects of
directive 2010/52EU Section 4.1 A Ergonomic
position of operator's seat For maximum comfort
and an ergonomic position, ensure that the seat
is adjusted correctly before starting up the
vehicle. This reduces the risks of whole-body
vibrations. For specific guidance on adjusting
the seat, see page 46 and the following pages.
For further information on the dangers associated
with whole-body vibrations, see page 32. B
Heating, ventilation and air conditioning Read
the functional specifications of the
air-conditioning system, heating and ventilation
carefully on page 109 and the following. The
ventilation system must be used in accordance
with the specifications to safeguard the
protective effect against hazardous substances
offered by the cab for further information, see
page 42. To achieve the required fresh air
volume, the air-conditioning system must be
operated at full fan speed with all doors,
windows and hatches kept closed. C Switching the
engine on and off To operate the vehicle safely,
you must have read and fully understood the
information provided on starting up and switching
off the engine and on operating the machine
safely. See page 97, page 105 and the following
pages. D Emergency exits The rear window of your
tractor serves as an emergency exit and is
indicated as such by a corresponding safety
information sign. See page 44. E Entering and
exiting the cab
