INTRODUCTION
Harcourt Butler Technical University (HBTU) is
one of the oldest and most prestigious
engineering institutions in India, located in
Kanpur, Uttar Pradesh. Established in 1921 as
Harcourt Butler Technological Institute (HBTI),
it was upgraded to a full-fledged university in
2016. HBTU is renowned for its strong emphasis on
technical education, research, and innovation,
and has contributed significantly to industrial
and technological growth in India.

departments Chemical Technology, Civil
Engineering, Computer Science and Information

Engineering. HBTU also offers programs in
