Romanian painter Mihai Olteanu was born on the
19th April 1962, Rediu village, Bira commune,
Neamt county. Graduated the High School of Arts
Bacau in 1980, Professor Gheorghe Velea and Pinca
Petru class. Works in private collections from
Romania, Canada, the U.S.A, Belgium, Sweden,
Iraq, France, Germany, Greece, Israel, Spain Most
paintings are oil on canvas, but he is
proficient in a wide variety of mediums,
including watercolor and charcoal. He has also
done numerous illustrations and computer graphics
for sci-fi, childrens books and monographs
