of things, and in all fairness, they are allowed

memories, and with you being the reason for this
occasion, your makeup will need to look amazing
as well as last all night. This is the reason why
your makeup holds such importance for the bridal
partys big day! Wedding makeup is very different
from your everyday routine. It is a day of
enhancing your natural beauty with the right
skill set from your artist. Your makeup needs to
be done meticulously and with utmost care.
However, to get the most flawless finish you need
to have the perfect canvas to do just that! That
is where the best skincare routine comes into
place! The Bridal Beauty Team understands the
complexities of everyones wedding makeup. It
does not matter if you have the most porcelain
skin tone or deepest tones, we bring our A game
on for all skin tones.
3Our team has worked with various brides and have
developed an understanding of all the things that
can go wrong if you are not careful. We want to
be your trusted hand and save you from the
nightmare of showing up at your wedding with
unflattering makeup. Read below for all our dos
and donts of skincare prep to showcase the best
you on your big day. An intensive skincare
routine is the most important part of your bridal
makeup. The better your skin looks without
makeup, the better its going to look when your
artist applies your makeup. Hydrate, Hydrate,
Hydrate! A huge must that you will never stop
hearing about is the importance of drinking lots
of water for your skin. But remember that
drinking a ton of water isn't a remedy for the
perfect glowing skin but sipping it slowly and
continuously throughout the day is. Make sure you
drink at least 3 liters of water every day to
ensure a better canvas for your artist on your
big date!
4Try These recommend Juice blends for extra
hydration
Cucumber Juice With being 96 water, this is a
huge hydration go to! You can also cut the
cucumber in pieces for a cooling snack while
getting just as much hydration as a glass of
water! Count me in! Ginger-Lemon Juice Ginger is
rich in niacin, a form of Vitamin B3 that is
essential to maintain healthy skin. It works as
an antioxidant, repairs DNA and prevents sun
damage. To make the drink taste better, you can
add a few drops of lemon juice.
5Lemon is rich in Vitamin C that also contributes
to hydrated skin. Watermelon Juice As the
name suggests, this fruit is extremely hydrating
and tasty as well! It can be consumed just by
grinding it in the juicer. Coconut Water Want
some natural electrolytes, try this healthy
drink. Just be careful buying some from the
supermarkets because some put added sugar in that
is unneeded! Fun in the Sun starts with SPF We
cannot emphasize enough on the importance of
applying sunscreen every day to brides of any
skin type. We suggest, from six months before the
big day, we do not want you to take any chances
and therefore suggest a re-application of
sunscreen after 4 hours. You must protect your
skin from sun damage but also with the other
harmful UV rays that we cannot see. Just
remember on the day of your wedding or engagement
photos, that is the one time we do not recommend
SPF. Wearing sunscreen during your photo sessions
can sometimes create a flash back with
photography!
6- Protect your pretty peepers with eye cream
- The thinnest layer of skin on our body is around
our eyes and therefore they need the most
protection. Signs of aging start to show first in
the eye area as well. Eye creams are not just for
someone who may have dark circles. We recommend
stopping into a local beauty store and picking up
an eye cream to protect, nourish and smooth that
skin area around the eyes. - Some suggestions for eye cream

7- Exfoliate your Dead skin away
- We want your skin to look glowing and radiant on
your big day, so do not to exfoliate your body as
well as your face. Exfoliating your face is very
important, but only as often as your skin
requires it. Once a week seems like a good amount
for most skin types. So, ensure that you
exfoliate your skin regularly. By exfoliating
regularly, you can ensure that the dead skin is a
goner, and your canvas is flake free! - Some suggestions for exfoliation

8- Drench that skin
- We want to stress the importance of a great
moisturizer. We recommend drenching your skin day
and night to assure your natural glow comes out
on wedding day. There are many different types of
moisturizers out there. Make sure you ask a
consultant at your local beauty store for the
best one for your skin type. If you are dry,
consider something much more hydrating and
heavier. If you are oily to normal, a regular day
and evening moisturizer will be just fine! - Some suggestions for dry skin

Cream () - Neutrogena Hydro Boost Gel-Cream Extra-Dry Skin

- Become Sleeping Beauty
- I know it may be easier said than done with all
the planning but getting your beauty rest is a
must. Maintaining a proper sleep cycle, with 7-8
hours of sleep and that too at a fixed routine
time. Your sleep cycle does not just regulate
your body but also it directly affects your skin.
10- See a dermatologist for any underlying skin
problem - Always remember makeup artists are not plastic
surgeons nor are they dermatologists. Pinterest
and Instagram may have you thinking they can do
anything, with all the misediting and filtering,
but makeup artists cannot change texture on
someones skin. A good time to seek medical
advice is about 6 months out or longer from your
wedding date. We cannot stress enough about the
importance of this. If you have a pre-existing
skin problem like eczema, scarring, acne,
breakouts, sunburn, rashes, etc. that you have
been complaining about since years, now is the
time to visit a good dermatologist. Remember,
your raw canvas creates the base for flawless
makeup. Take this step well in advance to see the
best results when you say I do! - Treat yourself To Facials
- Just think- You invested so much money into your
wedding dress, what about your skin? Facials are
an incredible way to deep cleanse and hydrate
your face. Just like above when I talked about
moisturizing, your skin requires a certain level
of moisture to create that healthy glow. Facials
are also an incredible way to relax and
decompress from the wedding stress.

12Wrapping Up
Dont try anything new Two weeks out We need to
stress not to try any new facial or other
procedure leading up to two weeks prior to the
wedding. We wouldnt want you to have an allergic
reaction to anything new on wedding day. Also,
we stress you to have a trial run weeks/months in
advance if you decide to get a spray tan. Do not
wait until the week of the wedding just in case
you do not receive your desired color. Eyebrows
should be waxed/threaded/groomed a week from the
wedding.
