Lisi Martin (Spanish, 1944) is a Catalan
illustrator who trained at Escola Massana in
Barcelona (Arts and Design school). At the
beginning of her professional career she worked
for Editorial Busquets drawing mostly Christmas
postcards, but from the 1980s and until his
retirement he drew for the Swedish publishing
house Pictura Inc. Despite being part of an
exceptional generation of Catalan illustrators,
she has developed her professional career outside
her country, which is why she has been little
known in Spain and instead has had wide
recognition in Europe and the United States of
America. Her drawings full of details and
tenderness fit perfectly with Nordic and Central
European tastes. She have mostly illustrated
carols and various greetings, but she has also
made dolls, wrapping paper, serial editions of
plates and porcelain figures as well as
merchandising items for the European and North
American market. In 2018 she gave his original
drawings, Christmas cards and various greetings
to the Library of Catalonia
