Salsa Roja
When you arrive at La Vista, Mexican restaurant
Bar, you will be welcomed with a bowl of salsa
roja, or crimson salsa, and a basket of chips.
Tomatoes are the main component in this salsa, as
you might have guessed from the first taste, but
there is also cilantro, garlic, and a variety of
other spices that help make each bite even better
than the last. Salsa roja is by far the most
well-liked Mexican salsa, and after taking a
taste, it is easy to understand.

As more people are willing to sample salsas other
than the typical salsa roja, salsa verde, or
green salsa, is becoming more and more popular.
Tomatillos are used in salsa verde in place of
crimson tomatoes. Although tomatillos and
tomatoes are closely related, its essential to
understand that they are not the same thing.

Salsa Mole
Salsa mole gives the truly daring an opportunity
to experience a dish that heavily draws from
Mexicos pre-Columbian culinary heritage. The
term mole applies to a variety of thick,
gravy-like sauces, many of which have a much more
consistent consistency than salsa roja or salsa
verde. However, Mexican chocolate comes in use to
make salsa mole at the majority of Mexican
eateries in the US.
5
Enchilada Sauce
These are usually based more on the main herb or
flavor that is used in each for instance,
paprika, not tomatoes, gives a red enchilada
sauce its color. The methods used to prepare
these sauces are frequently more influenced by
those used in Europe in fact, a French-style
roux is frequently used to aid in the
construction of the sauces. No matter which salsa
sounds best to you, know that you can find it at
La Vista, in Hong Kong today!
