BLADDER CANCER
Bladder cancer is a type of cancer that starts in
the cells of the bladdera hollow organ in the
lower abdomen that stores urine. It usually
begins in the inner lining of the bladder, called
the urothelium.

COMMON SYMPTOMS OF BLADDER CANCER

• Blood in the urine (hematuria)
• Frequent urination
• Pain or burning during urination
• Feeling the urge to urinate without results
• Lower back pain (in advanced stages)

CAUSES RISK FACTORS

• Smoking (biggest risk factor)
• Exposure to industrial chemicals
• Chronic bladder infections
• Family history of bladder cancer
• Age (common in people over 55)
• Being male (men are more likely to get bladder
  cancer)

TREATMENT OPTIONS FOR BLADDER CANCER

• Surgery (to remove the tumor or bladder)
• Immunotherapy (BCG therapy)
• Chemotherapy
• Radiation therapy
• Targeted therapy
