San Diego Police Detective Sergeant Steve Ryan
and Crime Scene investigator Shui Chen team up to
catch and bring the perp to justice. But the perp
is clever, staying one step ahead of law
enforcement, and taunting Ryan before or after
the attacks. Chen runs into one investigative
roadblock and dead end after another as she
discovers critical evidence. To complicate
matters, Ryan is torn between affection for his
ex-wife and growing affection for Chen, and Chen
is irresistibly drawn to Ryan.
