4International Programs in Agriculture,
Environment and Sustainable Development
M.Sc. in Agricultural Systems This program
offered by Faculty of Agriculture is designed for
agricultural researchers, extension and
development agents, and planners from government
and nongovernment organizations working in
developing countries. The program offers students
3 fields of specialization agricultural
production systems agricultural management and
development and agribusiness management.
Joint-Degree M.Sc. in Sustainable Agriculture
and Integrated Watershed Management This
program jointly offered by the agricultural
faculties of Chiang Mai University and University
of Hohenheim aims at enhancing students
knowledge of the complexity of watershed
agro-ecosystems, sustainable agricultural
practices and new pathways of integrated
watershed management. Specializations are offered
in (1) agricultural economics and social
sciences, (2) natural resource management and (3)
animal production systems.
M.Sc. in Environmental Science This
multidisciplinary program offered by Faculty of
Science integrates pollution monitoring, land use
planning, ecosystem rehabilitation, and the
preparation of environmental impact reports, to
provide students with the basic tools and
concepts for environmental monitoring,
assessment, analysis and problem solving.
M.A. in Sustainable Development This
multidisciplinary program offered by Faculty of
Social Science integrates the social science
disciplines of geography, sociology, political
science, economics, and law with natural science.
