of Teaching Reading Skills Childrens
Literature Quality childrens literature will
be used as a class and independently to reinforce
skills and build fluency as well as
comprehension. Porta-Centers These centers
are used as aids in the study of childrens
literature.The activities foster higher level
thinking skills based on Blooms
Taxonomy. Accelerated Reader and Reading
Logs All assigned childrens literature and
porta center books are AR compatible. Please
refer to the 4th grade handbook for more detailed
information. Please Note GRADES WILL BE TAKEN
FOR AR POINTS, COMPREHENSION, AND READING LOG.
