Setting up your User ID and Password for the new
user

This is the only time you will have to enter your
social security number.

Creating your User ID, Password and PIN numbers

Select and answer a set of three hint questions.
These answers are case-sensitive.

Registration of new user successful

Updating your user profile
This allows you to change your password, PIN, or
hint questions at anytime.

Type in a new password or a new PIN if you want
to change it
Phone number and Notes are for TxConnect use only

You could change your hint questions or answers
if you desire.

Registered user
If you have three unsuccessful attempts to log
on, the system will lock you out of your account.
You will then contact your campus administrator
to have your account reset.

As you mark your attendance Absent students
will show the row RED Tardy students will show
the row YELLOW

If a students absence is pre-posted by the
office..
The student will be shaded GRAY with the reason
displaying in the Attendance column.

Sorting according to your preferences
Click the in the column heading, the column
will be sorted as indicated by the in the
column heading.

After marking your attendance..
Review your input carefully, Enter your PIN
number and then click on the Post Attendance.
You may post the data only once per period/class
per day.
If you need to correct the attendance after you
have posted, you must contact your attendance
clerk to correct it.

Getting ready to use the Gradebook
To add an available category to your category
list, Click on the available category and DRAG it
to your category list.

Copy categories to another course sections
Make sure the From course is correct. Select
one or more courses to which you wish to copy the
categories. Enter your PIN number, and then
click COPY to copy the categories.

Entering a new Assignment
If you do not have a blank line then click the
Add New Assignment or if entering several
assignments then you can also use the tab key to
add a new assignment.
Enter your PIN number and click SAVE

Copy Assignments to another course section
  • Verify the course you are to copy From
  • Select the assignments that you wish to copy
  • Select the course sections to which you wish to
    copy the assignments
  • Enter your PIN number and click COPY

Entering Assignments grades
  • Select the semester, cycle, and course selection
  • Click RETRIEVE DATA
  • Enter the grades in the fields provided.
  • Grades that have been entered and not yet saved
    will be indicated by a gray shading in the
    table cell.
  • Enter your PIN number and click on SAVE

Add a comment or indicator to an assignment
  • Click on the next to the assignment grade.
  • You will get the Grade Properties screen and fill
    it in as desired.
  • If you want the comment/indicator to show on the
    IPR or TxConnect , select the Print Comment

Sorting according to your preferences
Click the in the column heading, the column

Reviewing the Cycle Grade page
  • Review your cycle grades, make any override
    grades or citizenship that need to be made.
  • If you make any changes, enter your PIN number
    and SAVE

IPR Interim Progress Report
  • Can be ran at anytime during a cycle/semester.
  • Enter comments by selecting Grades/IPR comments.
  • Enter up to five one-character comment codes
    which will print on the IPR
  • The will be yellow if a comment is added.
  • Make sure to enter your PIN number and click
    SAVE

Printing the Student IPR
  • Select the students for whom you wish to print
    IPRs.
  • For each student you can select just that
    selected class (This Class) OR all the classes
    that student has you for a teacher (All My
    Classes).
  • Select Detailed View if you wish to print the
    detailed IPR, which includes ALL assignment
    grades.

Getting to know your Student
Click on the STUDENTS ID number to access the
Student Profile pages which will allow you to get
to know you student.

Student Profile and Contact Information
Student profile includes age, date of birth,
grade level, entry date and any Special Programs
that the student qualifies for.

REPORTS Blank/Missing Report
The Blank/Missing Report displays blank, missing,
and incomplete assignments grades according to
options entered.

Reports Cycle Grade Range Report
The Cycle Grade Range Report displays working
cycle averages that fall within a specified range
according to options entered.

assignments grades for all students in a course
according to the options entered.
