  • Now over 70 full-time employees, company began
    with just the 5 principal engineers.
  • 15 new employees added since the beginning of our
    internship.
  • Offices in Portland and Vancouver opening new
    office in Los Angeles.
  • 90 percent of our business comes from repeat
    clients and referrals

Wages and Benefits
  • 13.50hr base pay 20.25 for OT
  • Paid mileage .375 per mile.
  • 200 rain gear and safety boot allowance.
  • 40 hour work weeks. Expect to work Saturdays.
  • Overtime anywhere from 5-17 hours.
  • Hours 8-5 when not working at Macadam 7-5 when
    at Macadam.

Overall Impression
  • Awesome internship!
  • Outside almost every day making site visits,
    and/or doing inspection. Even if it was 100deg
    for a couple weeks.
  • Was able to gain field experience that can be
    taken into consideration when doing design, that
    other engineers may not ever get the opportunity
    to do.
  • Felt like and was treated like a full time
    employee at GeoDesign. By the end of my
    internship I had more experience with the company
    longer than 25 of the current employees.
  • Extremely fun group of people to work with,
    feel like Ive made friends not just contacts.
