  • A verb is an action word. It describes what
    something or someone is doing.
  • How do you conjugate a verb in English?

The verb to eat
  • 1st- list your subject pronouns.
  • 2nd conjugate the verb
  • I eat we eat
  • You eat you all eat
  • He/she/it eats they eat

Conjugating in Italian
  • Italian verbs come in 3 forms
  • ARE, ERE, and IRE
  • Verbs have different endings according to which
    group they are in.
  • How do you know which group they are in?
  • The infinitive will end in either ARE, ERE, or
    IRE
  • What is an infinitive?
  • The un-conjugated form of a verb
