CAX Forum 07

• NATO Joint CAX Forum is an annual event
  organized by Joint
• Warfare Centre (JWC). It is open to NATO, PfP
  and MD countries.
• The Second NATO Joint Computer Assisted
  Exercise Forum (CAX
• FORUM) was held at NATOs Joint Force Training
  Centre (JFTC) in
• Bydgoszcz, Poland 11-14 September 2007.
• CAX FORUM focuses on technical issues and
  operating
• procedures related to simulation-based
  exercise and training support.
• The Forums primary goal is to promote the
  exchange of information
• and best practices between the staffs of
  NATO and national
• simulation centres.

• It also aims to provide a venue for bridging
  between JWC and
• national CAX centres, as well as, among the
  national CAX centres.
• 106 participants from 19 nations, Belgium,
  Bulgaria, Canada, Czech
• Republic, Denmark, France, Germany, Greece,
  Italy, Netherlands,
• Norway, Poland, Romania, Slovenia, Spain,
  Sweden, Turkey, UK and
• US, attended the second CAX Forum this year.
• The third Joint CAX Forum will be hosted by NC3A
  in the Hague
• 09-12 Sep, 2008.
