- To promote Rotary Pride at the

- promote district-wide fellowship functions.

8- 2005-06 RI President Carl-Wilhelm Stenhammar goes
back to basics with Service Above Self theme
and the Rotary Wheel emblem.
9Individual Rotarians
- Encourage wearing our Rotary pins everyday, not
just meeting days.
10- Encourage use of the Rotary wheel on Rotarians
autos.
11Rotary License Plates
12- Show your Rotary pride by proposing a new member.
13- Get involved, or re-involved in Rotary.
14Club
- Show pride in your club by adopting a club shirt,
cap, apron, etc., and wear them to events.

17- Appoint a strong fellowship committee to get
members and family together.
18- Appoint a strong membership committee.
19- Make sure club meetings are interesting and fun.

- Encourage monthly meetings of ADG and Club

- Educate members about the area and encourage
make-ups, at least in the area.

- Encourage more clubs to have members serve at
the District level.

- Attend District functions.
23District Assembly
- Educate our members about the District size,
structure, and how it fits with RI.
24Rotary Times/District Website
- Educate our members of the great projects done
by the clubs in our District.
25International
- Let our communities know what Rotary is doing
around the world.
26- Advertise Rotarys role in the fight to eradicate
polio.
27- Celebrate the second century of Rotary, the
oldest of Service clubs.
28- Promote the International Convention.
29Family of Rotary
- Continue to welcome new members in Friday Facts.
- Have a Family of Rotary area on the District
Website.
30- Celebrate individual Rotarians and their
families successes.
31- Encourage our members to get their families
involved in Rotary.
32Advertise
- Get the local media to report on clubs programs
and projects - Let the Rotarian magazine know about great
projects - (Email rotarian_at_rotaryintl.org )
33RI President-elect Stenhammar asked for
a Public Image Resource Committee. The media
has not been with us in all parts of the world.
This is irritating to many Rotarians. This year
because of the celebration, we will get free
advertising. I want to capitalize on this years
Public Image and build on it for next year. We
have lots of good stories to tell.
34- Make sure we have club and Rotary wheel signage
on projects in the community.

- Develop recognition for Rotarians who make-up at
all clubs in their area during the Rotary year. - Try new inter-club programs, such as exchanging
Club Presidents for a meeting. - Sell the value of make-ups to see how someone
else operates.
