  school that strictly monitors all entering and
  exiting guests. (Example Police stop people who
  do not fit the profile of students or faculty)
• Arrest Seize someone by legal authority and take
  into custody. (Example DUI, belligerence, or
  possession of drugs)
• Vandalism Action involving deliberate
  destruction of public or private property.
• Theft The action of stealing (Includes both
  robbery (armed) and burglary (unarmed) theft)

• We compiled our data from the Coral Gables Crime
  Database.
• The University of Miami is zone 7
• We recorded the address, date and time, and type
  of crime that occurred.
• Google maps gives a geographical visualization of
  the crimes
• We excluded traffic violations and lost property
  from our data.

• We were surprised that the Crime Database did not
  have records of any sexual assaults on campus.
• The number of stolen vehicles was higher than
  expected.
• The times of the crimes had no real pattern or
  logic.
