• Short cut attracts all of the surrounding
  traffic (wormhole)
• Attacker watches and manipulates traffic on the
  short cut route

  popular
• Batteries are built to last a certain time length
  given a certain work load
• Batteries are a weak spot for attackers who
  create a DOS by draining power from the device

• Service Request Power attack
• Services continuously requested from device
• Examples telnet, SSH and web server requests
• Benign Power Attack
• Device is given energy-hungry request repeatedly
• Example display hidden animated gif file
• Malignant Power Attack
• Replace existing executable with one which draws
  more power.
