Key functional components of SUEZ
  • Packet Scheduler
  • Weighted Fair Queuing(WFQ) allocating the output
    link bandwidth in proportion to their bandwidth
    reservation
  • overhead in calculating virtual finish time slot
    at which it should be sent out on the
    corresponding output link
  • Fixed-Granularity Fluid Fair Queuing(FGFFQ)
    introducing multiplexing/demultiplexing(MUDEM)
    mechanism
  • It visits connection queues and quanta from
    queues are merged into one transmit unit and
    sent out. The received packets are divided and
    enqueued in respective queue.
