• Today people say I feel like love then they
  start a relationship or
• I dont feel like love then end the
  relationship.
• Is LOVE really just a feeling? If not, what
  really is Love? Why does everyone try so hard to
  find their love? What do we really want???????

Why does everyone need to love and be loved?

What made us who we are? vs. What
do we need?

• Physical Body (drink, food, oxygen, warmth,
  comfort, rest, activity, sex)
• Mental Mind (knowing, learning, willing,
  meaning, understanding)
• Emotional Heart (love, affection, trust,
  acceptance, respect)
• Spiritual Soul (relationship with God, meaning
  of life)

• Need a perfect balance
• Ultimate fulfillment gt God intended for us to
  have gt we have to attend to each of the above
  according to Gods perfect plan (righteously)
• Men women, even every individuals physical,
  mental, emotional, and spiritual needs may vary

Who made us who we are why?

• God gave us a role and purpose in life
• Gen 127-28 So God created human beings,
  making them to be like himself. He created them
  male and female, blessed them, and said,
• "Have many children, so that your
  descendants will live all over the earth and
  bring it under their control. I am putting you
• in charge of the fish, the birds, and all
  the wild animals.

Relationship between Man Woman at the very
beginning

• Gen 220-25 So the man named all the birds
  and all the animals but not one of them was a
  suitable companion to help him.
• Then the LORD God made the man fall into a
  deep sleep, and while he was sleeping, he took
  out one of the man's ribs and closed up the
  flesh. He formed a woman out of the rib and
  brought her to him. Then the man said, "At last,
  here is one of my own kind---
• Bone taken from my bone, and flesh from my
  flesh. Woman' is her name because she was taken
  out of man.
• That is why a man leaves his father and
  mother and is united with his wife, and they
  become one. The man and the woman were both
  naked, but they were not embarrassed.

Where should we POSITION ourselves?

• For Single men women look to God to satisfy
  these needs until one has a husband/wife to make
  these connections with.
• prepare to LOVE
• self control
• save his/her body, mind, heart and spirit for the
  man/woman he/she marries.
• Guard yourselves as well as others

What about true Love?

• 1Co 131-3 I may be able to speak the
  languages of human beings and even of angels, but
  if I have no love, my speech is no more than a
  noisy gong or a clanging bell. I may have the
  gift of inspired preaching I may have all
  knowledge and understand all secrets I may have
  all the faith needed to move mountains---but if I
  have no love, I am nothing. I may give away
  everything I have, and even give up my body to be
  burned ---but if I have no love, this does me no
  good.

What about true Love?

• 1Co 134-8 Love is patient and kind it is not
  jealous or conceited or proud love is not
  ill-mannered or selfish or irritable love does
  not keep a record of wrongs love is not happy
  with evil, but is happy with the truth. Love
  never gives up and its faith, hope, and patience
  never fail. Love is eternal! GNB
