2GO TO THE GLYNN COUNTY SCHOOLS HOME PAGE CLICK ON
THE ICON ON THE LEFT THAT SAYS EMPLOYEES CLICK
HERE TO CHECK YOUR E-MAIL (RED BOX)
3- The _at_mail window will open as shown here.
4- Enter your user name (example albradley)
- Enter your password.
- Click Login
5This window will open. Select the mail folder
from the left that you wish to open.
6A list of emails in your inbox will be listed as
shown. Simply click on the email you want to
open.
7The email message will open as shown.
8 When you are finished reading your message,
click on the X to close out.
9To delete messages, click on the box to the left
of the message. A check mark will appear in the
box. Then click on the icon with the red X to
delete selected messages.
10To create a new message, click the Write
Message icon on the left hand side under File
and select New Message
11ENTER RECIPIENTS ADDRESS HERE
ENTER SUBJECT HERE
Fill in recipients address and subject then
click on message area to type your email message.
12If you have established your address book or wish
to select an address from the SHARED or GLOBAL
ADDRESS book then click the icon as shown here.
13Scroll to down to select which address book you
wish to retrieve the address.
14Click on the address on the left and click the
To button to move it to the field on the
right.
15The group will appear as shown here. Once you
have added all addresses, click on the Add icon
at the top left.
16After you click the ADD icon, you will
automatically go back to your email message.
17To check spelling of a message click the ABC
icon.
18 When in Spell Check mode, the screen will
outline RED and any misspelled word will turn
red.
19Click on the RED misspelled word and a window
will open with choices of correctly spelled
words. Selected the correct word from the list.
20Once you have selected the correct spelling, the
word will turn green.
21Once you have corrected all spelling errors click
the ABC icon again. DO NOT CLICK on the X at
the top right hand corner or it will delete your
message ! ! ! ! !
22To add an attachment, click on the Attach icon
at the top of the window.
23A new window will open as shown above. Click the
gray BROWSE button to locate the document you
wish to attach.
24Another window will open and you will select the
location of the saved document that you wish to
attach.
25The document you select will highlight blue and
it will also show in the File Name window.
Then click OPEN
26The document you have selected will show in the
box.
27When you have selected the document you wish to
attach, click the UPLOAD icon as shown here.
28The document you have attached will be listed
as shown here. Then click the RETURN icon.
29Once you click the Return icon, you will
automatically return to the original message. You
should see where the attachment is listed as
shown above.
30After you have finished composing your email.
Click Send at the top left hand corner of the
screen.
