• Network Information Service (NIS)
• Single sign-on in all SERC machines

• Multiple NIS masters to validate requests

E-mail

• E-mail accounts are given by your department.
  Contact your department mail administrator.
• SERC is not in charge of the Campus e-mail
  facility.
• Campus e-mail traffic flows through ERNET gateway
  (located at ERNET Lab, ECE).
• Your Department Administrator your first point
  of contact for e-mail related problems.
