About World Community Service
  • A WORLD COMMUNITY SERVICE PROJECT is born . . .
  • when Rotary clubs from two or more countries
    join together to accomplish a community service
    project.

How you can participate in WCS
  • Get Involved with an international service
    project by supporting one of many deserving
    projects listed on the WCS projects Exchange
  • The minimum project size is 5,000.00 (US)
  • Consider partnering with a multi-club project as
    a means of participating

World Community Service Project Criteria
  • 1. the project must be humanitarian in nature
  • 2. Rotarians in two or more Rotary countries
    must be involved
  • 3. One of the countries must contain the project
    site

WCS Projects Exchange
  • Available as a searchable database in English on
    the RI Web site at www.rotary.org
  • Includes short descriptions of over 400 Rotary
    club projects
  • Lists a local project coordinator for each project

Important Guidelines
  • Project sponsor must be in the project country
  • Register project using official Project Data Form
  • Notify RI of changes
  • Up to five projects per club may be registered at
    a time

  • Matching grants
  • Health, Hunger and Humanity grants
  • District Simplified grants
  • Volunteer Service grants
