Vacations
  • The Board has a policy regarding children being
taken out of class during the school year outside
of Board designated holidays and Professional
Development Days for vacations. The policy is
that the parents must accept full responsibility
for the consequences of their children not being
present for instruction. Although we will always
try to accommodate by giving your child extra
work before or after their return, much of the
instruction is interactive and the materials and
conferencing needed are available only in the
classroom. Therefore absence from this type of
instruction may affect your childs final mark on
    their report card.
