- Post correct our GPS data.
- Export our data to various mapping programs.
(AutoCAD, MapInfo, ArcView, etc) - Import spatial data to a GPS unit. (Aerial
Photography, Topographical Maps, Shapefiles)
4Opening The Program
5Can create a new project by clicking on the New
button. This will create a new Export, Base,
Backup folders under the new name. All projects
can be found in the Pfdata folder on C drive.

7Selecting A Time Zone
Options Time Zone
Choosing the right time zone is important in
gathering the correct data. When clocks get set
back one hour (UTC -500) when the clocks go
ahead one hour (UTC -400).

Most common coordinate system used is UTM with
North American Datum 83 (NAD 83) however Latitude
and Longitude is another popular projection.
