• This project has as an objective to show the
  results of my experience as a teaching assistant
  in English as a Second Language-ESL classes as
  well as the benefits to the community.

  this experience improved my teaching abilities
  and which benefits it brought to the community.

• The skills mentioned were accomplished through
• participation in training such as the Arkansas
  Department of Workforce Educations ESl Institute
  and completing a South Caroline College Pilot
  Project for teaching ESL on-line.
• planning lessons and designing activities
• participating in the class routine 4 to 8 hours
  weekly.

Expected Outcome

• My experience has prepared me to teach English as
  a Foreign when I return to Brazil.
• Association with non-native students has enhanced
  my world cultural awareness
• Training will enable me to transfer my knowledge
  of teaching techniques, methods, and approaches
  to presenting ESL to future colleagues and peers
• Confidence in my abilities as an educator
