Problem Statement

• There is a need to design a measurement system
  that will test physician competency in
  anesthetizing and maintaining patients during
  surgery.

• To evaluate the need for the Human Patient
  Simulator.
• To evaluate current methods for measuring
  physician competency in surgical anesthesia.
• To propose an improved design to measure
  physician competency.

Conclusion

• Simulation with a standard format for
  reporting objective and subjective measurements
  will provide a more efficient testing method for
  physician competency in surgical anesthesia.
