Blackboard

• Blackboard is a Web-based course-management
  system designed to allow students and faculty to
  participate in classes delivered online or use
  online materials and activities to complement
  face-to-face teaching. Blackboard enables
  instructors to provide students with course
  materials, discussion boards, virtual chat,
  online quizzes, an academic resource center, and
  more.

WebQuest

• WebQuest is an inquiry-oriented activity in
  which most or all of the information used by
  learners is drawn from the Web. WebQuests are
  designed to use learners' time well, to focus on
  using information rather than looking for it, and
  to support  learners' thinking at the levels of

• Starfall is a creative website designed to teach
  children to read. We hope that this free website

CyberGuides

• CyberGuides are supplementary, standards-based,
  web-delivered units of instruction centered on
  core works of literature. Each CyberGuide
  contains a student and teacher edition,
  standards, a task and a process by which it may
  be completed, teacher-selected web sites and a
  rubric, based on California Language Arts Content
  Standards. In the guides, the magenta text
  indicates the language (or context-appropriate
  equivalent to the language) of the content
  standards.
