    coaches, umpires and volunteers

The current state of the Game
  • Largest Primary Hockey Festival in the Country
    48 Teams and over 500 players
  • Over 60 Primary and 13 Secondary Schools now play
    hockey in Plymouth.
  • Coaching to over 4,000 School Pupils now takes
    place each year through the PHDG Programme with
    the support of Marjon Students
  • Competitive Hockey leagues Competitions for
    both Primary Secondary Schools.

    supported by OPMs and Plym Valley
  • Plymstock Panthers/Plymstock School/Plymouth
    Marjon Partnership
  • Development of a Youth Hockey Forum
  • Proposed development of 3 centres for junior
    youth development for school hockey
    Lipson/Marjon/Brickfields.
  • Continued expansion of programme into East
    Cornwall and hopefully West Devon
