Walton Folk Festival 7th-9th September
2001 Walton Folk Festival is a well established,
friendly and popular festival, which promises
traditional entertainment for all ages. This
year we intend to welcome visitors from all over
the UK and further afield to participate in and
enjoy the wide variety of performances on offer.
In addition to the always popular day long music
sessions and pub entertainment, there will be a
series of concerts at the Columbine Centre,
busking and dancing displays throughout the
town, barn dances and a craft fair. Workshops
teaching anything from Bodhran playing to step
dancing will be held throughout the weekend and
lighthearted competitions from singing to beer
drinking! And don't forget the LATE NIGHT EXTRA
