TLF Purpose
  • Encourage borrowers to enter and continue
    teaching
  • Awards up to 5,000
  • 5 years of teaching service

Qualifications
  • New Borrower on or after 10/1/98
  • Must teach full-time for 5 "consecutive,
    complete" academic years
  • at least 1 year after 1997-1998 academic year

  • Exception for portion of Consolidation loan which
