Why do people bully?

• There are many people that get bullied in every
  school. I think that people bully because they
  want attention. A lot of them dont get the
  attention that they need, so they become
  bullies. They also might think they could get
  recognized if they bully other kids. You do not
  have to bully if you want to be recognized.

How many kids are being bullied?

• 74 of students 8 to 11 years of age say there
  is bullying and teasing occurring in their
  school. 86 of students between the age sof
  12-15 say they have experienced bullying. Both
  age groups call these teasing and bullying
  matters big problems.

What do Bullies Do?

• Bullies call you names, say things that arent
  true that might get you in trouble, hit, pinch,
  bite, push and shove. Bullies also might take
  things away from you, like money, belongings, and
  your friends. Bullies like to threaten and
  intimidate you.

What if You Are Being Bullied?

• If you are being bullied, then you should tell
  a friend, teacher, or family member. It wont
  stop unless you do something. If you are afraid
  to tell someone, it might be easier if you write
  your parents a note telling them whats going on
  and how you feel.
