- Essentially the same as 2001
- - RA1 (staff details, category A,B,C,D)
- - RA2 (outputs, up to 4)

8RAE2008 submissions
- We will encourage HEIs to submit the work of
all their excellent researchers. - Take account of .early career researchers .
- We will not collect . information about staff
who have not been included - No category A staff
- Sub-panels will assess role and contribution of
category C staff
but institutions to make individualised staff
return to HESA
9RAE2008 outputs
- Maximum outputs submitted (up to 4) to be
determined by sub-panels ( agreed with panels) - If sub-panels consider volume of output is
significant . It should say how this will be
taken into account
10RAE2008 criteria assessment
- .. any variation in criteria between
sub-panels is in keeping with the extent to which
research approaches and methods vary between
disciplines - Sub-panels may request via the RAE team referral
of all or parts of submissions to another
sub-panel or specialist advisors - ensure that interdisciplinary research is
assessed by people best placed to assess it
