Periodic Table Project
  • Information
  • Date assignment is due February 28, 2005
  • Total assignment is worth 100 points
  • Each paragraph is worth 15 points (90 points)
  • Grading of paragraph will be based on accuracy
    and completeness of the paragraph concerning the
    topic. 10 points
  • Spelling and grammar represent 5 points. 
  • Two references or sources are included 10
    points
  • For each day that this assignment is late, the
    final grade will be lowered by one letter grade.
  • You will be provided 2 days to work on the
    assignment, February 7 and 8.

Directions
  • You will write a six-paragraph report on any
    element found on the periodic table. You must
    have 2 sources and attach a copy to your report
  • The report MUST be typed, double spaced and have
    a one inch by one inch border. You need to see
    Mr. Costein if this is a problem!
  • This report represents 15 of your final grade
    and replaces the nine weeks test. Failure to do
    this report will lower you grade by at least a
    1.5 letter grades.

    this element? How was it discovered?
  • Paragraph two Physical properties Describe in
    general terms of color, luster, melting point,
    boiling point, density.

    in general terms of reactivity. What does it
    react with? What type of bonds does it form?
