• The E-business programme is more towards Business
  and IT, not only E-business or E-commerce as many
  may think
• I have chosen all my own courses and projects -
  it has given me the opportunity to choose my own
  path

Master Thesis

• The course Enterprise Architecture has definitely
  made its mark
• My profile and focus is a strategic and
  management point of view also in my thesis
• The main area in my thesis is IT-governance
• IT-governance from a Strategic Change and
  Maturity Perspective 
• The big question is what happens when an
  organisation has a formalized IT-governance
  structure and mechanisms? How do we get to the
  next step, i.e. implementation, communication and
  ownership
• Does the structure and culture of the
  organisation have an impact on IT-governance and
  the implementation of it
• How does an organisation change, and can one
  manage this change also the cultural aspect of
  change management
• Can maturity of IT-governance really be measured?
• Focus on management and strategy
• Underlying themes such as organisational theory,
  change management, maturity and Enterprise
  Architechture.

Empirical data

• Interviews with experts a way of validating and
  legitimizing the problemdefinition
• Case Region Sjælland (Region of Sealand)
• Public case due to the fact that the Danish
  Public Sector is currently struggling with EA,
  governance and management
