What is DETECT-IT?

• DETECT-IT is a European initiative which aims at
  stimulating the participation of Small and
  Medium-Sized Enterprises (SMEs) in Research and
  Technological Development (RTD) activities, in
  particular within the European Sixth Framework
  Programme (FP6) soon FP7.
• DETECT-IT is supported by the Stepping up
  Economic and Technological Intelligence (ETI)
  actions of the Sixth Framework Programme.

How to get involved in DETECT-it?

• For other SME support organisations - join
  DETECT-it free of charge as an associate partner
• Visit the DETECT-IT website and register your
  organisation profile and interests on the
  DETECT-IT database www.detect-it.org .
• Once your profile has been submitted, you will be
  invited to participate in
• Specific research clusters relevant to your
  industry area
• Regional/national events where you will meet
  other players in your industry sector
• Web-conference calls about specific research
  opportunities
• You will receive Flash News Bulletins with
  updates on all new opportunities in your sector
• You can use the DETECT-IT Database to search for
  new partners or existing opportunities.
• A DETECT-IT partner will follow up in person and
  help match your needs and capabilities with those
  of other organisations.
• Alternatively contact the DETECT-IT help desk.
