Early Life
  • Samuel F.B. Morse was born on April 27, 1791 in
    Charlestown Massachusetts.
  • His full name was Samuel Finley Breese Morse his
    nickname was Finley.
  • As a child he did not study a lot because he had
    little interest in school.
  • Allow his likes painting, ice-skating and
    hunting.

  • Mom and dad expected him to have great success in
    life.
  • Morse became interested in communicating
    instantly over long distances because when he
    went to Europe he wanted to let his mother know
    he got there safely.
  • Also when his first wife died he didnt get the
    message for 6 days.

  • He is most famous for inventing the Morse code
    it is a series of electrical signals that stand
    for the letters of the alphabet.

    art. Morse was a successful art student.

    house of representatives.
