  • Evaluating and addressing traffic demands and
    problems
  • Inadequacy of current modes of public transport

7
OBJECTIVES
  • To apply the traditional urban transport planning
process to the city of Cebu and its neighboring
    cities
  • To make use of both primary and secondary data in
the calibration process of road network flows as
well as in the forecast of future traffic demand
  • To determine the impact of proposed sustainable
transport strategies on urban travel in Metro Cebu

8
SCOPE, LIMITATIONS, AND DELIMITATIONS
  • Cebu City and outskirts
  • Study is confined to major or significant roads
    due to lack of data
  • Data obtained will be limited due to scope or
size of the area of study

9
ASSUMPTIONS

    considered in the vicinity.
  • The public utility vehicles (PUVs) are merely
passing through streets that are included on the

throughout the period of the study.
  • Total number of vehicles in the system is
    constant.
  • Zone delineation would be patterned to the
    political boundaries.

10
SIGNIFICANCE OF THE STUDY
