The Successful Model
The Quantico Government Contractors Association
(QGCA)

• Incorporated as a South Carolina Corporation on
  4 December 2002
• Based on a grassroots formation called the
  Technology Leadership Forum, an offshoot
  committee of the Lowcountry Chapter of AFCEA
• 60 full members, 100 Affiliate members
• Nonprofit 501 ( C) (6)
• Team work, Community Outreach and Focus

• Separate and Perpetual Legal Existence
• Facilitate team work between Government and
  Government Contractors
• Bring focus on the Community and promote

QGCA Mission

• General Address issues and opportunities facing
  the greater Quantico VA government professional
  services contractor community.
• Specific
• Perform as an advocacy group for the professional
  government contractor industry in the greater
  Quantico geographical area
• Take actions to develop or improve the local
  government contractor communitys ability to
  develop, attract, retain, and more effectively
  execute business opportunities
• Foster the increased and improved interaction
  between government contractors for
  accomplishment of better services to the
  government
• Provide liaison with local, state, and federal
  governmental agencies, elected officials,
  legislatures, and special groups and committees
• Provide funded outreach programs to the community
