• Purpose
• To advance the knowledge and practice of naval
  engineering in public and private applications
  and operations
• To enhance the professionalism and well-being of
  members
• To promote naval engineering as a career field

• Who are we?
• Society membership is drawn from a broad spectrum
  of military and civilian professionals and
  students, engaged in or associated with the many
  facets of naval engineering. The society is
  governed by by-laws, elected officers and a
  governing council. The work of the society is
  carried out by standing committees and by the
  sections that have been established throughout
  the nation

• Increase industry and academia strategic
  alliances
• Develop participate in grade school thru
  college level outreach programs
• SeaPerch Program
• Grade school outreach
• Science fair/career day involvement
• Increase ASNE Alliances with other orgs (i.e.,
  SNAME, Navy League)
• Expand industry, academia, and student
  participation in ISS VII
