2WHAT IS LEONARDO?
- A European Community programme which
- aims to support national training strategies.
- It funds a range of transnational partnership
projects which aim to improve quality, foster
innovation and promote the European dimension in
vocational education and training.

- The EFTA countries participating in the European
Economic Area (EEA)(Iceland, Norway and
Liechtenstein) - Bulgaria, Romania and Turkey
4PROGRAMME OBJECTIVES
To improve skills and competences of people,
especially young people, in initial vocational
training
To improve the quality of and access to
continuing vocational training and life-long
learning
To promote and reinforce the contribution of
VET to the process of innovation, with a view to
improving competitiveness and entrepreneurship
