- IMA personnel perform specific tasks in support
of their organization - based on their rate and rank and specified
assignments. The user - must be authorized to perform these tasks in
NALCOMIS IMA. - The user must be added to the system before
he/she can use - NALCOMIS IMA. Military or civilian personnel
can be added when - official notification of arrival has been
received. You can then assign - those tasks that the user will perform in
NALCOMIS IMA. This - enables access to the appropriate windows and
provides data entry - capability for the assigned tasks.
5NALCOMIS PERSONNEL MANAGEMENT
- Individual tasks and task groups can also be
revoked globally - when necessary. This prevents all authorized
users from - performing the revoked task. Use this feature
in instances where - it is necessary to have users unable to
perform a specific task for - troubleshooting. When done, reestablish the
functionality and - authorization to the authorized users.

57- Note The system in its current configuration,
will allow the system administrator to delete a
user in NTCSS without being first unregistered
from the NALCOMIS application. However, this as
a practice is not wise. If the user is not first
unregistered in the application before being
deleted from NTCSS, it essentially renders that
user ID useless. This can only be fixed by
SPAWAR representatives.
