Is Nikto an Alien?

• Nikto first surfaced in the 1951 Cold-War era
  science fiction film -The Day the Earth Stood
  Still.
• Nikto reappears as an alien race in the star wars
  universe.
• The humanoid species known as the Nikto have tan,
  leathery skin and flat faces with multiple
  breathing holes on their cheeks and jawbones.
  Four small horns protrude from the forehead.

What is NIKTO?

• Open Source Web Server Scanner - Current
  version 1.35-1.1
• Written in Perl and uses LibWhisker Library for
  HTTP/S functionality
• Designed to examine web servers and look for
  items in multiple categories
• Configurations
• Default files and scripts
• insecure files and scripts
• Outdated software
• It supports proxies, SSL, character encoding,
  port scanning (it can use nmap if you have it
  installed)
