ICD F.A.Qs
  • Why was this called a beta program?
  • For new programs, the first year is called the
beta year. Beta means test, signifying the
    test year of the program.
  • Where can I get a copy of the presentation for my
    chapter?
  • It may be download it from the website.
  • Where can I get the toolkit? Who walks me through
    it?
  • The toolkit may be downloaded from the website.
The ICD team will hold a training session on how
to use the toolkit at the end of the month.
  • How does the measurement tool work?
  • The tool is a report thats submitted by
participating chapters. It is NOT mandatory for
all chapters. The report is submitted on NOL,
then graded. The highest scores from each region
win regional awards, likewise for national
    awards.
  • How often do I have to submit reports?
  • Only twice. November February
  • How?
  • On NOL, just as you would the old CDP.

13
ICD F.A.Qs - cont
  • How does my report get graded and when will I
    receive my score?
  • Numerical values are associated with each answer.
Your score will be automatically graded by NOL,
with the bonus section being graded by your Reg.
Prog. Chair and the ICD team.
  • How will the chapter of the year be awarded?
  • We will award chapter of the year to the highest
scoring chapter. Attendance in the ICD program
    will be taken into consideration.
  • Do I have to present something at national
    convention?
  • Certain chapters will be selected to be panel
guests at national convention. These chapters
will be asked to bring their chapter best
    practices for the panel discussion.
  • So when does this program start?
  • NOW! Youre participating in it by attending this
session and other leadership sessions hosted by
    ICD.
