• These groups aim to influence public opinion and
  to shape attitudes on a particular issue. A good
  example of this would be CND Campaign for Nuclear
  Disarmament

  convince the public that they are looking out for
  the interests of everyone another very famous
  attitude cause group is Greenpeace

• Cause groups are often set up to achieve a
  certain goal and once this is in place there may
  no longer be any need for the organisation a good
  example would be The Campaign for a Scottish
  Parliament, because as we know there is now a
  Scottish Parliament in place

• In the 1980s a group of people came together to
  jointly protest and pressure the government over
  the poll tax put in place by the Conservatives.
• There were many rallies held and often they
  turned nasty.
• Opposite shows chaos in Trafalgar Square
