MDRS - Emily

• Simulated Mars base in the Utah desert
• GT has sponsored GT-only crews since 2005
• Looking for a new crew for spring 2008!
• Over spring break and the week after
• Funding expected, but not guaranteed
• Ham radio license and first aid (wilderness
  preferred) required prior to mission, but not to
  apply

MDRS Application

• 1 page cover letter
• Focus on relevant skills wilderness, carpentry,
  electrical, biology, cooking (because you dont
  want to eat mine)
• Suggest a research project
• Resume
• Include GPA, major, work/other experience

URC - Curtis

• For the second year, teams of university
  students will design and build the next
  generation of Mars rovers. June 5-7, 2008 the
  teams and their rovers will face off at the Mars
  Desert Research Station in Utah.
