Gratitude

• Giving begins with a response of gratitude for
  the grace of God in our lives.

• And now, brothers, we want you to know about the
  grace that God has given the Macedonian churches.
  2Out of the most severe trial, their overflowing

Gods Love

• You know how full of love and kindness our Lord
  Jesus Christ was. Though he was very rich, yet
  for your sakes he became poor, so that by his
  poverty he could make you rich. 2 Cor. 89 NLT
• Gods Riches At Christs Expense!

Liberality

• Liberal giving results in liberal receiving!
• Remember thisa farmer who plants only a few
  seeds will get a small crop. But the one who
  plants generously will get a generous crop.
  11Yes, you will be enriched so that you can give
  even more generously. 2 Cor. 96,11 NLT

Investing All

• 28Peter said, We have left our homes and
  followed you. (Weve given up everything to
  follow you. What will we get out of it?Mt
  1927)
• 29Yes, Jesus replied, and I assure you,
  everyone who has given up house or wife or
  brothers or parents or children, for the sake of
  the Kingdom of God, 30will be repaid many times
  over in this life, as well as receiving eternal
  life in the world to come. Luke 1828-30 NLT

Abundant Ministry

• Abundant grace brings abundant blessing and spurs
  abundant ministry.
• 8And God will generously provide all you need.
  Then you will always have everything you need and
  plenty left over to share with others. 12So two
  good things will happenthe needs of the
  Christians in Jerusalem will be met, and they
  will joyfully express their thanksgiving to God.

• 10I suggest that you finish what you started a
  year ago, for you were the first to propose this
  idea, and you were the first to begin doing
  something about it. 11Now you should carry this
  project through to completion just as
  enthusiastically as you began it. 3 I am sending
  these brothers just to be sure that you really
  are ready, as I told them you would be, with your
  money all collected. 2 Cor. 810,11 93.

Regular, Dependable Giving

• Now about the money being collected for the
  Christians in Jerusalem You should follow the
  same procedures I gave to the churches in
  Galatia. 2On every Lords Day, each of you should
  put aside some amount of money in relation to
  what you have earned and save it for this
  offering. Dont wait until I get there and then
  try to collect it all at once. 1 Cor. 161,2 NLT
