Example of ISO14021
  • Claims of carbon neutrality claims shall either
    include
  • a) a statement that 100 of the greenhouse gas
    emissions have been eliminated or accounted for
    through a system of offsets, or
  • b) a clear statement about which elements of the
    product lifecycle have been offset
  • Claims of carbon neutrality shall also be
    qualified with a statement that clearly explains
    how and what you have offset, providing full
    details of the offset scheme used and information
    that enables the purchaser to access sources of
    further information explaining the offset
    programme. Carbon neutrality shall state clearly
    whether it applied to the products or the
    packaging
