8Qualitative research design
- Pilot questionnaire in a different region
- Measurements in 2003 and 2005
- Questionnaire among /- 60 local/regional
stakeholders education, HP and government - Semi-structured interviews with 10-12
stakeholders - Document analyses
9Results pilot
- Piloting a questionnaire in different region
where no focussed collaboration exists is
difficult. - Most helpfull was the think-out loud pre-test
conducted by one professional of that region. - Where possible the questionnaire was simplified.
10Results 2003
- Discriptive state-of-the-art per DISC-construct
- HP most open to innovation and most personnel
- Competitive feelings among the HP stakeholders
- Education professionals most hopefull satisfied
with the schoolBeat support - Educators report highest level of innovative
actions and adaptations - government expect financial problems in the near
future and least open to innovation
11Results 2005
- Education professionals are least positive about
schoolBeat and show significant negative changes
on DISC-constructs - Faith in schoolBeat has risen among HP-staff,
positive changes on DISC-constructs - No significant changes among public servants
- Explanations by other DISC-constructs!

ROUTINE
13Pitfalls
- Questionnaire too complicated demotivation of
stakeholders - If no direct follow-up, results lose value
- Although theory-based some important perceptions
/ factors may have been missed - Sustainability of collaborations
14Opportunities
- Systematic feed-back for
- change-agents / management
- Clarification of differences among
stakeholder-groups - Applicable in (multiple) case study research /
implementation research
