State of Affairs

• A policy addressing peanut allergies does not
  exist.
• There are students at AGCS with allergies to
  peanuts.
• A Peanut Ban is currently in place at AGCS
  until an appropriate policy is approved by the
  Board.

• Recommend a policy to the Board that protects
  students who have allergies to peanuts.
• This policy will need to balance the life-saving,
  legal, and practical aspects involved in this
  issue.
